Zebra Blinds

Description

Light Filtering Zebra Blinds are also known as transitional shades. They offer both sheer and light filtering fabrics in the same shade that create a zebra like pattern. Beautifully diffused light and room darkening privacy make our sheer Zebra Blinds the perfect choice for your living room, bedroom and study. Leave your shades open during daytime hours and gain incredible view-through, close them partially to protect your family and home from harmful UV rays and intense light, or shut them completely at night for the privacy you need. Zebra Blinds give your home the sleek, contemporary look you love — but with the easy functionality you need in a shade.

California Shutters

Description

Interior shutters usually hinge on either side of a window opening, and swing inwards to allow access to the window or to allow light to enter a room.  Operable louvred shutters have louvres, or slats, that rotate open or closed to control light, visibility and airflow.  Shutters that have operable louvres are described using different terms, such as traditional shutters.  For most people, window shutters have become a design accessory rather than a practical necessity.  Like earrings or a tie tack, shutters add a dress-up flourish, though their roots are strictly utilitarian.  These window coverings have been used for centuries, first inside, then outside.

Most popular are plantation shutters, which is the style we chose for our example of interior installation.  The strong horizontal shadow lines can invest a room with late-afternoon drama.  The slats we selected are in a fixed position; others have slats that are adjustable, which allows precise control of streaming sunlight.

Roller Blinds

Description

Roller Blinds are made from a stiffened fabric attached to a roller. They can be spring-loaded, adjusted with a chain mechanism, or motorized. They have different styles you can choose from: Blockout Blinds, Light Filter Roller Blinds, and Sunscreen Roller Blinds.  Blockout Blinds, as the name implies, can block out light completely. Light Filter Blinds allow filtered light to enter the room and give you privacy during the day without blocking light. Sunscreen Blinds help save energy by reducing the heat from the sun. They give you daytime privacy, and at the same time, allows partial sunlight to enter the room so you can enjoy your view during the day.

Faux Wood Blinds

Description

Faux wood blinds are made of imitation wood, almost identical to natural wood. Imitation wood is made of either a composite wood material or a PVC/vinyl material that is highly durable. They will not warp, crack or fade, making them good choices for humid spots such as kitchens and bathrooms. High traffic areas that get a lot of wear and tear from our children and other active areas demand Faux wood blinds. They are easy to clean as any type of cleaning products can be used and you don’t have to worry about damage.  Faux wood blinds are the economical choice to give your home the “natural” look you want to achieve. They continue to be one of the most popular window treatments for their versatility and uncomplicated design.
